Like many people I chose to do most of my shopping online, as it saves on those dreadful chilled food aisle tantrums that we all get. Last week I thought I would try the delights of a number of 'value' items, because as I have often suspected they are just as good as the shops own brands, just without the unnecessary packaging. Who knows what happened next but when the Vicar unpacked the shopping he was horrified to find that we had a total of 5 PACKETS of 8 bananas! Basic maths told me that we were going to eating a lot of bananas this week!

A big thanks to friends who in my hour of need have supplied me with many banana based ideas (and a good deal of ridicule!) watch this space...I am off to make Banoffee Ice Cream!
